When you exit the Dell QuickSet control panel from the “notification area” you’re presented with this dialog box:

Blech! Most people won’t read the language and click “Yes.” Which means that it’s going to launch with your system every time you log on to your machine. But I don’t want this panel to ever launch, which means I need to exit the program every time I log on.
Cut to the chase. “Yes” and “No” are not commands that have any significance to what the actual program is asking for.
Here’s what I think it should say:

I like the better-interface series you’ve started! Forgive me for suggesting the Dell QuickSet dialog box could be even further improved(!), but I wonder if the text on the button should be changed from Close to OK — mainly because the sentence at the top already says, “You have closed…” (If I’ve already closed QuickSet, what am I closing by clicking the Close button?)

I thought about changing the first sentence to say “You are closing…” But that seemed a little too literal.

Well said. This will make it suck less for those of us that would like to increase the performance of our laptops by reducing overhead. Thanks!
